Open it up and keep it clear
Vegetation management and land clearing is the cutting, clearing, and removal of brush, overgrowth, and unwanted vegetation to open up land, corridors, and boundaries. SGB Environmental Services handles this work — including right-of-way and fence-line clearing and pollinator habitat establishment — across Southeast Missouri, Northeast Arkansas, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky.
We bring the right equipment for the terrain: a skid steer with brush grapple and brush hog attachments, and a tractor with vegetation and habitat attachments. And because we're a single-source field crew, the same team that clears the vegetation hauls off the resulting debris — no separate clearing and hauling vendors to manage. Where recoverable material turns up, it's routed through affiliated recycling operations at Bootheel Recycling.
Cleared, cleaned, and hauled
The right attachment for the job, start to finish.
Walk the ground
We assess the terrain, vegetation, and access to pick the right attachments and approach.
Clear & cut
Skid steer and tractor attachments handle brush, overgrowth, right-of-way, and fence-line work.
Haul the debris
Cleared vegetation and brush is loaded and hauled off with our own licensed equipment.
Finish & establish
Where it's part of the scope, we support pollinator habitat establishment on the cleared ground.
One crew clears the vegetation and hauls it off.

Vegetation & land clearing questions
What does vegetation management and land clearing include?
It includes brush removal, land clearing, right-of-way and fence-line clearing, and related vegetation work using skid steer and tractor attachments. We also handle pollinator habitat establishment. The cleared material can be hauled off as part of the job.
What equipment do you use for clearing?
A skid steer with brush grapple and brush hog attachments, and a tractor with vegetation and habitat attachments, plus our hauling equipment to remove the cleared material. The right attachment is matched to the terrain and the job.
Do you clear right-of-way and fence lines?
Yes. Right-of-way and fence-line clearing is a core part of this service, supporting contractors, utilities, municipalities, and property owners who need access corridors and boundaries opened up and kept clear.
Do you haul away the brush and cleared vegetation?
Yes. As a single-source crew, we clear the vegetation and haul off the resulting debris with our own licensed equipment, so you don't need a separate hauler to finish the job.
Do you establish pollinator habitat?
Yes. Using tractor-mounted vegetation and habitat attachments, we support pollinator habitat establishment as part of vegetation management — useful on solar sites, rights-of-way, and conservation-minded projects.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Dexter, MO and serve Southeast Missouri, Northeast Arkansas, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky, including Sikeston, Cape Girardeau, Poplar Bluff, and Kennett.
